Amboseli is a world class tourist destination known for its diverse plant and animal wildlife as well as its picturesque views of the tallest mountain in Africa, the Kilimanjaro, from across the Kenya-Tanzania border. This safari offers you the opportunity to see it up close and personal not just the mountain but the animals as well from the great herds of elephants that roam about the plains in search of food and water to the flamingos that spend their days inside and on the shores of Lake Amboseli. It truly is an amazing place perfect for an unforgettable experience. The safari may only last three days but the memories will last a lifetime!
You will be picked up from Nairobi and driven to Amboseli. Accommodation will be provided by AA Amboseli lodge full board. After you have had lunch, an afternoon game drive will follow. Amboseli is popular not only because of the breathtaking views of the Kilimanjaro just about its horizon, but also because of the herds of elephants that call it their home.
After breakfast, you will have a full day game drive with a picnic in the park or an early morning game drive / evening game drive around Amboseli in search of big herds of elephants, prides of lions, cheetahs etc. Amboseli is also famous for avian wildlife.
After breakfast you will depart for Nairobi for drop-off at Jomo Kenyatta International Airport or at your preferred drop-off point.
