8-Day Relaxed Safari

ABOUT THIS SAFARI

A relaxed, laid-back safari that spans eight days that will take you across some of the most popular Kenyan destinations while keeping short the daily travel distance. The safari starts in the Aberdare Ranges, a one hundred and sixty kilometre long mountain range of upland, north of Kenya’s capital Nairobi with an average elevation of just over four thousand metres. From there, the safari heads to Samburu County, where you can visit the Samburu National Reserve and Buffalo Springs National Reserve. Next, the safari visits the Sweetwaters Chimpanzee Sanctuary, which provides lifelong refuge to orphaned and abused chimpanzees from West and Central Africa. The Sweetwaters Sanctuary is adjacent to the Ol Pejeta Conservancy which hosts the last two remaining Northern White Rhinos. The safari then heads to Naivasha, known for its wildlife spots, flower farms, luxury lodges, and tourist attractions. Finally, the safari ends in Maasai Mara, one of the most famous wilderness areas in Africa that attracts visitors from near and far. It is known to be home to over eighty mammal and reptile species each with both classes known for the apex predators such as lions, cheetahs, leopards, crocodiles and the elusive puff-adder that stir-up the otherwise peaceful landscape of the Mara.
